Optovue, a leading manufacturer of optical coherence tomography (OCT), was the first to release 3D OCT Angiography, AngioVue and AngioAnalytics. This optional upgrade for its Avanti OCT delivers high definition imaging of retinal and choroidal micro vasculature at all plane depths, as well as analysis of retinal blood flow.
OCT Angiography is non-invasive and may be used for routine screening and management of retinal and choroidal vascular disorders.
The recently released software upgrade for the Optovue Avanti is a further step forward, generating even higher definition OCT Angiography with 50 per cent more sampling points, leading to a 33 per cent improvement in resolution.
Furthermore, AngioVue HD Automatic Montage provides the highest resolution large field of view for imaging even peripheral vascular pathologies in outstanding detail, such as diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion.
