Need to understand the latest on dry eye from the perspective of the recently released DEWS II report?
The 16th International Cornea and Contact Lens Congress, from 8–10 September, is your go to conference, with an overview of dry eye based on the report to be delivered by Prof. Craig Woods of Deakin University; a presentation by Dr. Laura Downie from Melbourne University on translating DEWS II into practice and one by Prof. Fiona Stapleton on the dry eye disease prevalence. Additionally A/Prof. Jennifer Craig from the University of Auckland will present on the potential to repair the tear film and optometrist Jim Kokkinakis will speak about current clinical practice.
Other important topics to be covered at ICCLC 2017 include myopia management; the latest technology in eye health; and surgery and the anterior segment. This year’s Kenneth W. Bell medal lecture will be delivered by John Mountford while Prof. Charles McMonnies and Tony Philips will be presented with Life Member Awards.
