According to Colin Kangisser, CEO and shareholder of The Optical Company, The Optical Company will now expand to 35 retail stores, in addition to wholesale distribution, eye safety divisions and multiple e-commerce sites.
The Optical Company, holds ownership interests in a variety of optical brands throughout NSW, VIC, QLD and SA including Kevin Paisley, Stacey & Stacey Optometrists, nib Eyecare Centres, Prevue Eyewear, OCO, and the recently launched Level 28.
“The Optical Company has entered into an agreement to acquire the Optical Warehouse, with completion to take place later this year,” said Mr. Kangisser. “We look forward to adding the Optical Warehouse stores to our successful brand portfolio.”
He said the acquisition is “part of a planned and calculated expansion” with the intention of becoming “a leading optical group in Australia”.
