VSP Optics has launched ‘Unity Via Progressive Lenses’; five new designs that, according to the company, rated two to one over the leading progressive in a 2016 US wearer trial.
Lenses are customised to individual patients using ‘intelligent technology’ that makes them easy to fit and ensures patients see their best at every distance.
Describing the innovation VSP said, “Developed with input from optometrists and progressive lens wearers, we’ve created a lens so intelligent that with a few simple measurements (PD, fitting height and position-of-wear measurements) your patients will see their best, every time… They’ll quickly adapt to the visual areas they need and transition naturally from near to far with unsurpassed visual comfort”.
Unity Via offers four different designs to suit every Rx, lifestyle, or frame choice: Unity Via Elite; Unity Via Plus; Unity Via Mobile and Unity Via. They’re available in CR39, polycarbonate, Trivex, Hi-Index, with SunSync light-reactive lenses, TechShield Blue coating, Unity Elite anti-reflective coating and more.
