Optometry Australia is inviting optometrists and the wider optical industry to participate in an interactive, national webinar which aims to identify the main factors influencing the future of optometry over the next 20 years, their potential impact and when those impacts will be felt.
The webinar is part of a project titled, ‘Optometry 2040 – Taking Control of Our Future’, devised by Optometry Australia to help the optometry sector create a sustainable and successful future over the next 20 years and beyond.
The webinar will be held on Tuesday 6 March from 7pm –8.15pm and will be hosted by Lyn Brodie, CEO of Optometry Australia; Skye Cappuccio, National Policy Manager at Optometry Australia; Professor Sohail Inayatullah, a leading political scientist and futurist; and Niki Ellis, a consultant who specialises in occupational and public health medicine.
