Ophthalmologist Dr. Anthony Maloof will present the keynote address at Super Sunday, Optometry NSW/ACT’s annual education conference for Association members and non-members.
Dr. Maloof, who specialises in corneal and oculoplastic surgery, will speak on medical mythology… Have you ever wondered what would happen if your knowledge and training was wrong? Is it possible that you possess incorrect knowledge? How could that happen? What do you do? How do you fix it? Why do we believe what we believe, and how do our beliefs affect how we teach and treat?
Also presenting at Super Sunday are experts in eye health including Dr. Simon Chen on What can the retina tell us about the brain?; Kathleen Watt on Atropine and orthokeratology in myopia management; Simon Hanna on Are you billing correctly?; Dr. Alex Hui on Top 10 oral meds in eye care; and Anna Morse on Outreach optometry:
broadening your horizons.
A series of workshops will also be held on Saturday, 10 March beginning with a wellness seminar delivered by optometrist Susan Ang-Ngo.
