Younger Optics has launched NuPolar Infinite, a prescription photochromic sun lens in grey.
Maintaining 99 per cent polarisation efficiency to block virtually all glare, NuPolar Infinite technology quickly responds to UV and visible light, darkening or lightening according to different conditions, and varying between a light grey 60 per cent tint to dark grey 91 per cent tint.
“This is a very exciting product release for us at Younger Optics because it’s the lens customers have been asking us to create for years,” said Craig Johnston, Younger Optics ANZ Sales & Marketing Manager. “Finally we have a photochromic sun lens utilising NuPolar polarisation technology in the most popular lens colour; grey.”
A campaign, starring the chameleon and complementing existing NuPolar dragonfly materials, has been launched to support NuPolar Infinite’s release. Free point-of-sale is available including a window poster, window decal to add depth and interest to the window poster, and a counter card. Practices can also order social media content and digital advertising. NuPolar Infinite is available in hard resin 1.50 initially, in a prescription range of -8.50 to +6.00. A polycarbonate release will follow.
