The third Synergeyes conference, will be hosted by Alcon at The Westin Hotel, Sydney from Saturday 30 June to Sunday 1 July 2018. This two day clinical symposium has been curated by a faculty of ophthalmologists, including Assoc/Prof. Tim Roberts, Assoc/Prof. Chandra Bala, Dr. Anton van Heerden, Dr. Nathan Kerr and Assoc/ Prof. I-Van Ho.
Attendees can expect discussions and presentations on current clinical needs, trending topics, and the latest technological developments from leading ophthalmologists.
The agenda will focus on the anterior segment, and address key areas of cataract surgery, from treatment of the ocular surface to the latest developments in intraocular lens (IOL) technology, and the management of complex refractive surgery. For the first time at Synergeyes, the focus will expand to glaucoma and vitreoretinal surgery.
Additionally, Alcon will reveal its latest IOL innovation, Clareon AutonoMe. The launch of the new Clareon AutonoMe IOL and delivery platform will be held on Saturday 30 June in the Heritage Ballroom. Dr. Amazallag, an expert in IOL and injection systems, will fly from France to be the guest speaker at this special event.
