Five Star Canstar Rating for Eyecare Plus

Eyecare Plus has achieved a five star rating by Canstar Blue for overall satisfaction, value for money, after sale service, range of products available, customer services and accessibility of store.

Eyecare Plus came in ahead of other brands assessed: Budget Eyewear; OPSM; Optical Superstore, Specsavers, Big W Optical and Laubman and Pank; and was the only optometry provider to be awarded five stars for overall patient satisfaction in the wide ranging survey.

Simon Lewis, general manager of Eyecare Plus, said the survey results “prove that patients really appreciate our members’ independent and thorough approach to optometry”.

“We don’t have big marketing budgets but we do have a big commitment to excellence, and it’s great to see that being acknowledged by the public,” he said, adding that the win for Eyecare Plus is a big win for independent optometry, as every other provider surveyed is part of a large corporation.

“This proves there is still strong demand for quality eye care and that the public understand the importance of a thorough eye examination in preventative eye health,” said Mr. Lewis.

Canstar Blue is a consumer review and comparison website. The organisation commissions independent Australian market research company,Colmar Brunton, and global enterprise research platform, Qualtrics, to survey and rate customer satisfaction across a wide range of products and services.

According to Canstar Blue, survey responses are received from 3,000 people reflective of the Australian population in terms of gender, age and location, (based on ABS Census data). Only results from respondents who have used the product or service being surveyed within the nominated time frame are included in the survey, which typically equates to between 800 and 1,000 targeted consumers.
