Mark Holloway Steps Down at De Rigo

Mark Holloway has stepped down from his role as Managing Director of De Rigo Vision Australia, effective 31 July 2018, to pursue opportunities outside the eyewear industry. His association with the company will continue as a Director on the Board.

Angelina Chee has been promoted from her role as Marketing Manager to the new position of General Manager, De Rigo Vision Australia. Chris Hanley will continue as the National Sales Manager.

In a statement, Mr. Holloway said, “During the past 24 years, Australia’s eyewear market has significantly changed and it continues to evolve. While we have faced many challenges, as have our retailers, I am confident that De Rigo Vision Australia, with the full support of the De Rigo Group, is perfectly positioned to continue to provide excellent quality product, brands, and the level of service that customers require to grow and prosper.”

Mr. Holloway said he looks forward to supporting the team and contributing to future strategic decisions as a member of the De Rigo board.

Mr. Holloway was Managing Director of L’Amy Australia when the company was acquired by the Italian eyewear manufacturer De Rigo Vision in 2016 at a time when De Rigo Vision was L’Amy’s biggest supplier.
