The EQ Workplace is the latest addition to the Zeiss Cataract Suite, which helps to streamline cataract workflow. From biometry and calculation, selection and ordering of IOLs, to surgical planning and post-operative data collection, Zeiss says EQ Workplace saves time and protects against human error.
As a digital workflow solution based on Forum, it connects the IOLMaster and other Dicom-compatible devices remotely and is complemented with a cloud-based EQ Mobile app. EQ Workplace also connects directly to Callisto eye, enabling preparation of surgical assistance functions from anywhere. The surgery plan, with all assistance functions, is automatically available at Callisto eye via Dicom import or by flexibly transferring selected patient plans via WiFi with EQ Mobile. After surgery, review the pre- and post-operative refraction and decide which data sets to use to personalise IOL constants.
