Gelflex is now distributing the Zenlens. The Zenlens with SmartCurve design simplifies scleral fittings and allows you to zero in on only the parameter modifications you need to make (effective sag, base curve, limbal clearance curve or APS peripheral curves).
When a parameter modification is made, the lens automatically engages to ensure all other design attributes remain consistent. This is particularly convenient when a best fit Dx lens requires sag modification, as the base curve remains constant so your over-refraction remains valid.
According to Gelflex, the Zenlens is suitable for ECPs experienced in scleral fitting, and those considering adding scleral lenses to their practice.
