Luxottica Opens New Flagship

OPSM has opened its largest store in Australia. The 300m2 flagship store at 413 George Street, Sydney reinforces the organisation’s commitment to clinical care and fashion with state of the art screening technology complemented by the network’s widest range of eyewear.

“George Street, Sydney will now be the largest store in the OPSM network and will house our widest selection of luxury frames – including Oliver Peoples, Tiffany&Co, Prada, Chanel and Giorgio Armani.”

“We want to ensure we meet the needs of all customers. OPSM George Street will offer a significant selection of alternative fit optical and sunglasses designed to fit customers with a narrow nose bridge, so all face shapes are catered for. Staff are trained to assist customers with all face shapes and styling concerns while also speaking multiple languages.”

Peter Murphy, OPSM Director of optometry and community, said: “Staff training is extremely important at OPSM.

“Our Optometrists receive training in the latest eye care technology to ensure they are at the leading edge of the profession. We’ve been helping Australians look after their eye health for more than 85 years and we continue to look for new ways to enhance our customer experience.”

The George Street store will feature some of the best optometry technology available in Australia including; the Optos Daytona Ultra Wide Digital Retina Scan, which provides a 200-degree view of the eye and is only available at OPSM.
