The Nidek OPD-Scan III VS incorporates a corneal topographer, wavefront aberrometer, auto refractometer, auto keratometer and pupillometer.
It clarifies causes of vision difficulties with both wavefront analysis and corneal topography.
The auto refractometer function measures exceptionally accurate refraction for pupil diameters under differing light conditions; the wavefront aberrometer function delivers assessment of visual acuity and quality of vision; and the topography function provides intuitive maps and numerical data of the corneal surface.
The OPD-Scan III VS generates a basic information report that’s useful for a general overview of the patient’s eye conditions; a simulation report which offers visual performance simulations and graphs for a variety of conditions; and the eye diagram image report, which shows visual displays to help understand optical eye differences between day and night conditions.
