In a free webinar, titled Let’s Unmask A Stigma, optometrists Judy Kwan and Hirdesh Nair from Johnson & Johnson Vision will dispel the myths, by presenting on the benefits of prescribing astigmatic contact lenses – especially for low amounts of astigmatism.
Accredited for one clinical hour of CPD through Optometry Australia IoE Quality Assurance and 0.37G in New Zealand, the webinar will explore different astigmatic contact lens designs and the designs may impact clinical performance, visual comfort and physical ocular comfort. To support their presentation Ms Kwan, Mr Nair along with fellow guest optometrists will share case studies highlighting the benefits of prescribing for low amounts of astigmatism.

About the Speakers
With 15 years’ experience as an optometrist, Judy Kwan is Johnson & Johnson Vision’s Professional Development Associate. Ms Kwan has previously worked with BHVI and has been a clinical supervisor at University of New South Wales (UNSW). She continues to see patients in practice.
Hirdesh Nair has a Master of Optometry Degree from UNSW and a Bachelor of Optometry Degree from University of Auckland. Johnson & Johnson Vision’s Professional Education Services Manager, he has over 15 years’ optical experience in Australia and New Zealand.
