The iCare DRSplus confocal fundus imaging system uses white LED illumination to offer high-quality TrueColour images rich in detail with greater sharpness, optical resolution and contrast than a traditional fundus camera. The mosaic function provides panoramic images up to 80º (118º measured from the centre of the eye).
Fast and fully automated, DRSplus permits imaging through pupils as small as 2.5mm, without need of dilation, ensuring a comfortable patient experience. Examination time is reduced and clinic workflow improved.
EIDON is the first ‘TrueColour’ Confocal retinal system that combines the best features of scanning slit ophthalmoscopy and 3D automation, for exceptional image quality, resolution, and true colour rendition for accurate retinal diagnoses. EIDON’s wide-field optics offer high resolution imaging of the central and peripheral retina between 90° to 160° fields of view (COE).
The TrueColour white LED scanning slit imaging offers dilation free imaging, while overcoming dense media opacities. The live confocal image and 3D auto-focus/auto-capture offer fast, seamless widefield image capture in TrueColour, infrared reflectance, fundus autofluorescence, and video or still fluorescein angiography modalities.
With support for DICOM and Network Review stations, the Icare EIDON retinal systems offer enhanced imaging and improved workflow for all clinical settings.
