Fully controlled by the surgeon, Zeiss Lumera 700’s intraoperative optical coherence tomography (OCT) images help unleash the potential of OCT imaging and take advantage of new insights to aid quick decision making. The integrated intraoperative OCT can support in monitoring graft orientation and assessing the interface with the patient’s cornea in Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK). For deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK) procedures, dissection depth can be evaluated to potentially improve the reproducibility of this big-bubble procedure.
This intraoperative OCT is also available with the digital microscope, the Zeiss Artevo 800. OCT visualisation delivers 39% more image information, while the AdVision feature places critical information directly in the line of sight. Thanks to DigitalOptics, 25% higher resolution than competitive devices1 is achieved, leading to an outstanding depth of field and natural colours. The combination of high magnification and high resolution helps the corneal surgeon see details like never before.
