To combat the challenges of optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging in a fast-paced environment, Zeiss presents the high-performance Cirrus 6000.
For retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, this device offers high speed image capture, larger field of view and high definition AngioPlex OCT angiography scans. Using a new 100kHz scan speed, Zeiss states that the Cirrus 6000 is 270% faster than previous generations and capable of capturing OCT cube scans in as little as 0.4 seconds. With significant workflow improvements and acquisition success for even the most challenging patients, clinicians can make more informed decisions and spend more time with their patients. The Cirrus platform ensures seamless transfer of raw historical data from past models, facilitating continuity of patient care with trusted progression reports well known in glaucoma and other ocular diseases.
