Cirrus 6000

At 100,000 scans per second, the Zeiss Cirrus 6000 is the next-generation optical coherence tomographer (OCT) delivering high-speed image capture with wider field of view and high definition imaging detail. A randomised, prospective, single-centre, clinical trial compared three Zeiss high definition OCTs – the Cirrus 4000, 5000 and 6000 – for workplace efficiency.1

The scan acquisition duration on the Cirrus 6000 was significantly shorter than its siblings, with faster speed observed in individual scans, and a common clinical scan protocol, regardless of patient age.1 The longest duration for a Cirrus 6000 was three minutes to scan both eyes.1 Additionally, the 6000 was 29% faster at saving reports for doctor analysis.1 Contact: Zeiss Account Manager
