COVID Rules to Change in NSW

Restrictions surrounding COVID-19 will change in New South Wales tomorrow (15 December), impacting optometry practices. While proof of vaccination will no longer be required in NSW, you can set your own rules for patients and staff.

From 12.01am in NSW:

  • Retail reopens to all regardless of vaccinations status,
  • Masks are no longer required in retail or clinical spaces,
  • QR codes are abolished in retail spaces, including optometry practices,
  • Proof of vaccination status is not required unless you wish to request it in your practice, and
  • There is no limit to the number of visits to homes.
