Registration is now open for the Vision 2022 international conference, to be held by the Vision Impaired Service Provider’s Alliance of Ireland (VISPA) from 5-8 July at The Convention Centre Dublin, Ireland. Leading practitioners in low vision, research, rehabilitation and vision impairment will share current thinking and discuss the future of achieving best practice.
Organised by the International Society for Low Vision Research and Rehabilitation, the conference will allow attendees to partner with local hosts; Fighting Blindness, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, National Council for the Blind of Ireland (NCBI) and ChildVision.

Keynote speakers include Pearse A. Keane, MD on Artificial Intelligence in Ophthalmology – Reinventing the Eye Exam; Professor Rupert Bourne on The Global Burden of Vision Loss – changes in prevalence and causes of visual impairment and the implications for the future; and Professor Jane Farrar on Shedding Light on Inherited Retinal Disorders (IRDs): Elucidating genetic etiologies – Designing Therapies.
