Glaucoma Australia’s Chief Executive Officer, Annie Gibbins, has resigned to pursue new opportunities.
Over the past four and a half years with Glaucoma Australia, Ms Gibbins has developed awareness campaigns to educate people with glaucoma and increase early detection for those ‘at risk’. These campaigns have increased the number of referrals, which in turn have greatly improved the quality of patient support and education.
Her successes have included building sponsor partnerships, increasing industry co-marketing and joint education initiatives, and instigating Glaucoma Australia’s first ever fundraiser ‘7 Sights in 7 Days’ in 2022.
Her successes… have further consolidated Glaucoma Australia’s standing as a trusted, respected and patient centric health-sector not-for-profit
These significant contributions have further consolidated Glaucoma Australia’s standing as a trusted, respected and patient centric health-sector not-for-profit.
In an announcement, the board sincerely thanked Ms Gibbins for the contribution, passion and energy that she has brought to the organisation and wished her every success in her new ventures.
Glaucoma Australia, which is well positioned with a strategic focus on growth initiatives to advance its mission of ending glaucoma blindness for all Australians, has commenced an executive search for a new CEO.
