
The Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia continues its successful webinar series next month with a presentation on maintaining the health of the ocular surface.
The webinar will be presented by Amy Gallant Sullivan, Executive Director & Board Member of the Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society (TFOS), and Martin Robinson, who is well known for his fabulous dry eye cases.
They’ll cover off the complexities of the ocular surface, dry eye, contamination, allergies… eye cosmetics and much more
They’ll cover off the complexities of the ocular surface, dry eye, contamination, allergies and the importance of the correct type, use and application and removal of eye cosmetics (and much more), in order to help us maintain a pristine ocular surface in contact lens wearers and non-wearers alike.
Accredited by Optometry Australia Institute of Excellence for one hour of therapeutic CPD, this webinar will comprise presentations and a panel discussion, sponsor presentations, live polling, as well as a question and answer session. Amy Gallant Sullivan, BS

Amy Gallant Sullivan, BS
Amy Gallant Sullivan earned her Bachelor of Science from Boston University in Mass Communication and Public Relations.
With two decades of entrenchment in the ocular surface space, she is globally committed to promoting the advancement of next-generation vision through the cross-pollination of biotech, life sciences and tech. Founder of ÈSSIRI Labs, the creators of Èyes Are The Story optocosmetics, Ms Gallant Sullivan is also Executive Director and Co-Creator of the Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society (TFOS).
Ms Gallant Sullivan is well known for her campaigns aimed at educating women of the dangers of toxic beauty. In 2016, she founded Dry Eye Diva, a profession-bridging eye care collab educating clinicians and patients. She illuminates global audiences on an array of eye wellness topics. Prior to launching TFOS, she worked in international banking and e-commerce, honing her business and branding acumen, while developing global messaging platforms for Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas. In 2012, she co-founded the Italian & International Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, a non-profit that promotes art-access exhibits for the visually impaired.
Martin Robinson

Martin Robinson
Martin Robinson graduated in optometry from Queensland University of Technology, and initially worked in country Queensland. This Included fly in, fly out work in concert with Dr Gary Brian of the Fred Hollows Foundation in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait communities. Mr Robinson has also worked closely with corneal surgeons, fitting specialty contact lenses and RGPs to post graft corneas.
Now based on Hobart, Tasmania, Mr Robinson runs his own practice, Martin’s Eyecare, allowing him to continue fitting complex contact lenses, as well as pursuing his passion and expertise in dry eye.
