
Optometrists are invited to attend one of two dinner meetings hosted by Alcon, in Newcastle and Parramatta, where they will hear about advances in intraocular lens (IOL) technologies and how to manage IOL patients following surgery.
During this interactive CPD event, optometrists will hear about the design features of IOL technology that they need to understand to be able to support patients. Clinical insights will be imparted with case examples and discussion. 2.25 interactive points have been applied for.

The presentations will be delivered by Monica Lette, Practice Development Manager NSW/ACT for Alcon Surgical. Ms Lette has consulted in both corporate and private ophthalmology in both management and clinical roles, with a focus on pre- and post-operative cataract and refractive patient care. She was the referrer liaison NSW for a corporate ophthalmology group for six years and has also consulted in private and corporate optometry practices in metropolitan Sydney and regional areas. Ms Lette is currently a director on the board of Optometry NSW/ACT.
