Ever wondered about future developments in ophthalmology? All will be revealed at a one-day virtual event, hosted by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmology (RANZCO) on Saturday 10 September.
Advances in Ophthalmology will be convened by Prof Peter McCluskey and A/Prof Clare Fraser.
Speakers include Professor David Mackey who will explore whether self-driving cars will ever be suitable for the vision impaired, and Professor Gerard Sutton who will question whether a bioengineered cornea would work.
Concluding the program will be a debate on artificial intelligence and what it means for ophthalmologists, patients, and the community.
