C-Stim is Quantel Medical’s premium new intense pulsed light (IPL) device that’s designed specifically for the treatment of dry eye disease. This IPL device, operating in the 610–200 nanometre wavelength, is designed to treat meibomian gland dysfunction, significantly reduce the vicious cycle of chronic inflammation, and decrease demodex folliculorum in skin phototypes I through V.
With reduced light absorption in melanin, the inflammatory response in patients is limited, resulting in an overall effective treatment outcome. Unlike other IPL devices, C-Stim uses a flash-lamp water-cooling system to guarantee homogenous energy throughout the treatment process, maximising patient comfort.
Ergonomically designed and easy-to-use with intuitive software, the C-Stim is easily adaptable for any clinic or practice set-up. Bi-Blade vitrectomy cutters are available in 23G, 25G and 27G options.
