Keratoconus Australia, in collaboration with its US and UK affiliates, is running an international photo competition for World Keratoconus Day, 10 November 2022, to promote understanding of keratoconus and show how people affected by the condition see the world.
The ‘KC: Through My Eyes’ photo competition, open to patients, their friends and family members, and eye care professionals, asks people to show how keratoconus affects their perspective, with the prompt, ‘What does the world look like to you?’. The aim is to help tell a visual story of how keratoconus impacts daily life.
The photo can focus on the challenges, express how obstacles are overcome, or share an appreciation for beauty that may otherwise be overlooked
