Iconic British eyewear designers Kirk & Kirk has been presented a Silmo D’Or Eyewear award for its newly launched Thor frame.
“It is a great honour to be recognised by the profession. We work hard to change the way that people feel about eyewear, to inspire and excite the public, and this is a great step in the right direction,” said designer Karen Kirk.
Kirk & Kirk frames stand out, not only in the way they look through their strong use of colour but also in the innovative materials that they use. It is the only company in the world to hand-make frames in France from a specially developed grade of acrylic. This makes its glasses extremely light weight and comfortable to wear.
