Now part of The Optical Company, CEO Colin Kangisser was on hand to welcome guests to the practice at a celebratory event. Having trained as an optometrist, Mr Kangisser acknowledged his admiration for the business that Kevin Paisley originally founded, and their shared commitment to supporting their local communities.
“The name Kevin Paisley is synonymous with eye care and eyewear across Geelong – our goal has been to maintain this DNA of the Kevin Paisley business as we know many people have fond memories and authenticity is intrinsic to our own approach,” he said.
Mr Kangisser also acknowledged the practice’s support of the Barwon Health Foundation and specifically its end-of-year initiatives that aim to add extra cheer to local families.
The event included entertainment from the talented singer Kim Cooper, as well as cocktails and artisanal grazing boards provided by local suppliers, The Cocktail Cart and Boxed & Boards.
Guests were invited to explore the practice, which was refurbished by acrd and discover eyewear from brands including Victoria Beckham, Lindberg, Ray-Ban, Versace, Gucci, Prada, Maui Jim, Carolina Herrera, Oliver Peoples, Swarovski, Oakley plus many more.
This sense of festive cheer and giving extended to lucky-door prizes, with several guests the recipients of classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses.
