Myopia Mini-Series

Registrations are now open for a three part education series on Myopia Management. Featuring Professor Nick Rumney and hosted by Device Technologies, the series promises to provide “practical information and knowledge to assist you in developing and optimising your Myopia Management service within your own practice”.

Topics covered are: Why Myopia Management?, Foundations of Introducing Myopia Management to your Practice and Optimising Your Established Myopia Management Practice.

Professor Rumney is an Optometrist and Owner/Director of BBR Optometry in the UK.

He qualified in 1980 before becoming a Member of the College of Optometrists and received his General Optical Council registration in 1981. He went on to gain his Optometry MSc from the University of Melbourne in 1986 and in 1994 he gained a Fellowship with the College of Optometrists in low vision and ocular disease modules.

In 2012 he gained a Diploma in Therapeutics and a Professional Certificate in Medical Retina in 2014. In 2016 he was awarded the Philip Cole Research Excellence Award.
