Building on more than half a century of glaucoma and therapeutic laser innovations, Zeiss now offers the addition of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) to its Visulas green laser for the safe and effective treatment of primary openangle glaucoma (POAG).
Results from a recent multicentre study confirmed that SLT, performed with the Visulas green laser, achieved clinically significant IOP reductions in medically-treated and in treatment-naïve eyes with POAG.
The integration of Zeiss Visulas green into the Zeiss ecosystem provides high levels of connectivity and improvements in efficiency. Clinicians are now able to check the patient history, patient condition and IOP trends within Forum Glaucoma Workplace on the Visulas workstation prior to treatment.
