S.B.M.’s IDRA is a dedicated integrated dry eye platform that delivers a comprehensive range of qualitative tests and quantification reports, including lipid layer thickness, tear meniscus height, non-invasive tear break-up time, auto quantification and classification of meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), eye blink detection, and more.
New automated software allows acquisition of all fundamental tests in just 15 seconds per eye. Vivid anterior eye imaging and treatment trend reports with graphs are delivered for easy interpretation.
Extremely compact, the IDRA is slit lamp mountable, and can be used stand-alone with an optional base and head rest.
The DSLC200 transforms slit lamps into a high-quality digital imaging device and is compatible with popular current slit lamp models. It can also be upgraded with the DEM100 for a comprehensive dry eye diagnostic platform to perform an extensive range of tests and reports.
The S.B.M. product range also includes Activa, an innovative non-invasive eye-mask that relieves evaporative dry eye symptoms by melting the meibum and unclogging glands to restore natural meibum flow and increase meibomian gland functionality. This device mechanically warms and massages the lids, is efficient without patient discomfort, and requires no consumables. The masks can be easily sanitised after each use.
