Cobra+ is a leading edge, user-centric, non-mydriatic digital fundus camera for early detection of macular diseases.
It also has a meibography module for screening patients with meibomian gland atrophy. The five-megapixel camera produces high definition retinal images, with up to a 50º visual field. It can capture images through small pupils with a diameter of 2.5mm.
Cobra+ has nine internal fixation points, which allow quick acquisition of high definition (HD) peripheral retina images, with the option to combine multiple HD images into one panoramic image. Many built-in usercentric features, such as an automatic measurement of cup to disk ratios, increases ease of use and the speed of glaucomatous disease detection.
In combination with CSO Phoenix software and the CSO Retimax, the retinal image can be overlapped with an electroretinography multifocal test. This combination provides comprehensive retinal profiles and precise health indicators of every analysed retinal area, which is useful for diagnosis and follow-up of macular degeneration and degenerative hereditary retinal diseases.
On a single screen, the CSO Software can display multiple wavelength images from the Cobra+, including the original, infrared, and red-free images; as well as the choroidal, vascular and nerve fibre images for in-depth retina examinations. The AVR tool is also available to measure
the ratio between the branch arteriolar-venous diameter, when detecting early signs of cardiovascular issues.
