A lecture on incorporating intense pulsed light (IPL) and low level light therapy (LLLT) in the treatment of dry eye and other ophthalmic pathologies will be presented by Dr Jennifer Rayner, on Monday 24 July in Cremorne, Melbourne.
Dr Jennifer Rayner is an optometrist and a member of the Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society (TFOS) Lifestyle Workshop Public Awareness Committee. She has practised optometry since 2003 and, with her business partner Dr Rene Malingre, established South Australia’s first dedicated dry eye clinic, Alleve Eye Clinic, in 2016.
Having seen dry eye largely dismissed and unsuccessfully managed through ophthalmic nursing from her late teens, Dr Rayner is driven by advancements in research and treatment options to educate both the public and her peers on better treating this often-debilitating disease.
Hosted by Espansione and sponsored by Credabl, optometrists will also be able to explore some of Espansione’s new products, with followed by mingling, drinks, and light grazing.
