All ECPs Welcome: Ophthalmology Updates! 26-27 August, Sydney

Registrations are still open for the sixth Ophthalmology Updates! Conference from 26-27 August in Sydney.

The conference, which is open to all eye care professionals, dedicates one hour to each of the major ophthalmic subspecialties: medical retina, oculo-plastics, cataract, neuro-ophthalmology, paediatrics, glaucoma, vitreo-retina, radiology, uveitis, ocular oncology, and cornea. Presentations within each hour segment are short and sweet, ensuring a wide range of topics can be covered.

Within this friendly atmosphere, delegates will hear about new advances in ophthalmology and will be welcomed to ask questions.

Dr Norman Swan Speaking

Convened by Professor Adrian Fung, this year’s keynote speaker is Dr Norman Swan from ABC National and the Coronacast, who will speak to the topic ‘Medicine and the media’, delving into how stories make it into the news, the evidence on Medicare fraud, and how doctors can make their voices heard.

Other speakers include Professors Robyn Guymer, Justine Smith, Dinesh Selva, Associate Professor Michael Lawless, and Drs Clare Fraser, Loren Rose, Tanya Trinh, Celia Chen, Craig Donaldson, and Nathan Kerr.

The conference dinner will be held in the Sydney Opera House at the Bennelong restaurant.

Ophthalmology Updates! will take place at the Fullerton Hotel, Sydney.
