Enrolments are being accepted for the Australian College of Optometry’s Advanced Certificate in Glaucoma (ACO-ACG) remote learning course.
This six-month course offers optometrists training in current best practice for the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and co-management of glaucoma.
With a flexible, remote learning structure, ACO said it is ideal for rural or remote optometrists and those balancing work and other commitments.
With about 80% of glaucoma diagnosed by optometrists, ACO said the course is “actionable from the start”.
Students are well supported throughout the course, which is described as “rigorous”.
Further information on the course is available at aco.org.au/advanced-certificate-in-glaucoma or by calling the ACO: (AUS) 03 9349 7477.
