Webinar on Glaucoma, Retina, and Refractive Surgery

Optometrists seeking valuable practical advice on the management of glaucoma, retina and refractive patients are advised to register to attend a webinar, to be held on Wednesday 6 September.

Sponsored by Vision Hospital Group the free webinar has been accredited for 1.5 CPD hours.

The event will commence with a presentation on glaucoma by Dr Jason Cheng. With two fellowships and a wealth of experience in this subspecialty, Dr Cheng will provide advice on streamlining diagnosis, progression analysis and referral letters in routine open-angle glaucoma.

Dr Simon Chen, a highly experienced vitreoretinal surgeon, will follow with a presentation on recognising, managing, and referring retinal cases.

Lastly, Professor Colin Chan, who is an internationally recognised expert in refractive surgery, will present on ‘Getting right to the point in refractive surgery’. This presentation will help you refine how you counsel your refractive patients.

Moderated by Associate Professor Michael Lawless, one of Australia’s most experienced eye surgeons, the webinar will provide plenty of opportunities to ask questions of the panel of experts.
