The VX120+ Dry Eye is a multi-diagnostic wavefront anterior segment analyser with a dedicated dry eye screening module that can perform a battery of tests to give a comprehensive analysis of a patient’s visual health. It determines the specific dry eye syndrome using three types of measurements:
- Analysis of tear film and break-up time without using fluorescein,
- HD colour imaging of meibomian glands, and
- Measurement of tear meniscus height.
This device is powered by Shack-Hartmann wavefront analysis technology, which enables it to perform simulations of visual acuity, measurement of lower-order and higher-order aberrations, and objective day and night refraction measurements analysis of aberrations with Zemike coefficients.
