Specsavers has launched the program for its annual two-day clinical conference, to be hosted on the Gold Coast from 14–15 September.
The program, to be delivered almost entirely by ophthalmologists, covers diverse topics ranging from paediatrics and myopia management, to glaucoma, cornea and dry eye, anterior eye therapeutics, neuro-ophthalmology, retinal disease, and posterior eye and uveitis.
Speakers include Professor Celia Chen, Dr Brendan Cronin, Dr Rushmia Karim, Dr Kate Reid, Associate Professor Chameen Samarawickrama and Simon Hanna, with more speakers to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Specsavers Clinical Conference is available for all optometry professionals and optometry students. In response to delegate feedback, this year’s event will be held both in-person and virtually, with places for the in-person event strictly limited and available on a first come, first-serve basis.
Discounted early bird registration fees for two-day in-person and virtual attendance are available before 31 May 2024.
