ACBO Joins ODMAFair25

The Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO) has joined with ODMAFair25 and will host its annual conference in conjunction with the optical trade fair.

ACBO Connect 2025 will take place on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 June 2025 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney.

Optical Distributors and Manufacturers Association (ODMA) CEO Amanda Trotman said she was “thrilled that ACBO have come on board to work with ODMA to enable their delegates to attend and benefit from ODMAFair25”.

She said it was “an absolute win-win for all stakeholders”.

“Visitors get even more value for their time investment as they will be able to visit the trade fair during lunch breaks and after the completion of their program.”

Anne-Marie McNally, CEO of ACBO, noted the benefits of co-locating two ‘must not miss’ events under one roof.

“an absolute win-win for all stakeholders”

“ACBO Connect 2025 will provide two full days of learning and sharing knowledge and experiences with other passionate behavioural optometrists and vision therapists.”

Attendees could earn continuing professional development hours, valid in both Australia and New Zealand, from ACBO Connect 25, she said.

In addition to the ACBO conference, ODMAFair25 has confirmed partnerships with Optometry Australia NSW/ACT, which will host its Super Sunday event in conjunction with ODMAFair25, and Optometry Development Australia (ODA).
