Dry Eye, Paediatrics and Myopia: UNSW Short Courses Start Soon

The University of New South Wales School of Optometry and Vision Science (UNSW SOVS) will run short professional development courses on dry eye, paediatrics and myopia in the coming months.

These courses have been designed to provide high-level training and expertise in a convenient study plan that can be accommodated by practising optometrists.

Dry Eye Disease: 10 March – 13 April 2025

This short course on Dry eye disease: diagnosis and management will help you identify and manage dry eye with confidence.

Sponsored by Alcon and Melcare Biomedical Pty Ltd, the course runs from 10 March – 13 April 2025 and includes three two-hour synchronous session highlights.

Dry Eye Masterclass: 24 February 2025

This 30-minute online masterclass on dry eye disease management will be presented by Professor Isabelle Jalbert and Dr Regine Chapman-Davies (optometrist) on Monday 24 February 2025.

The Masterclass will provide an overview of the short course, along with critical new insights for enhancing your optometry practice to enable you to effectively cater for a wider range of patient needs. There will be opportunities to ask questions at the end of the event.

Paediatric Eye Care: 21 April – 2 June 2025
