Eyerising International has announced the appointment of Daniel Bishay as its Professional Affairs Manager.
Mr Bishay is an eye care professional with experience in orthoptics, optometry, and clinical education.
Having first trained and worked as an orthoptist for several years, he undertook his Master of Optometry and Bachelor of Vision Sciences at Deakin University. He has worked as an optometrist for OPSM and more recently Bailey Nelson. He is also a clinical tutor and casual academic at Deakin University.
As Professional Affairs Manager, Mr Bishay will provide clinical and educational expertise to support eye care professionals in their adoption and implementation of repeated low-level red-light therapy.
“Being able to integrate clinical expertise with medical device technology at Eyerising International is a unique and rewarding opportunity. I am excited to facilitate more myopia control management in the optometry space and educate patients and parents alike on this new treatment,” Mr Bishay said.
