Success for Inaugural Eyecare Plus Entrepreneurs’ Club

Attendees at Eyecare Plus Entrepreneurs' Club

Eyecare Plus said its inaugural Entrepreneurs’ Club has proven to be a game changer, providing members with the opportunity to commit to a practice improvement project, with peer support.

Formed in October last year, the Entrepreneurs’ Club was “built on the idea that when you bring together passionate business owners and give them structure, guidance and peer support, incredible things happen”, Eyecare Plus General Manager, Phillip Rose said.

“This programme gave members a space to focus on growth and innovation, while learning from each other’s experiences.”

Throughout the programme, members gathered monthly via online meetings to share progress, refine ideas, overcome challenges, and hold each other to account.

Many members reported increased patient satisfaction, stronger team engagement, and growth in revenue and efficiency arising from their projects.

High Performance Summit

The programme culminated in the High Performance Summit – a face-to-face gathering at Peppers Noosa Resort in Queensland last month. Members presented the outcomes of their projects in person, sharing insights, lessons, and impressive results.

Presentations showcased a wide variety of impactful initiatives, including the use of artificial intelligence, improved recall success, digital marketing campaigns, and technology to boost patient care and sales.

Many members reported increased patient satisfaction, stronger team engagement, and growth in revenue and efficiency arising from their projects.

The in-person event also featured industry guest speakers and workshops. HOYA gave an update on its MiyoSmart lens, introduced the Visupro lens, and detailed HOYA’s One Vision programme and its focus on sustainability.

Marchon Eyewear outlined a new inventory management model for Eyecare Plus practices, based on experience with trial practices and backed by consumer trend insights and performance data.

CooperVision led a workshop focused on identifying growth opportunities in the contact lens category – particularly among dual wearers – and raising consumer awareness.

“The energy at the High Performance Summit was incredible,” Mr Rose said.

“Everyone was engaged, generous with their ideas, and genuinely invested in helping one another grow. It really reinforced what’s possible when independent practices collaborate with purpose.”

Based on the positive feedback and results of the programme, Eyecare Plus announced the Entrepreneurs’ Club will return, with the next High Performance Summit to be held at Peppers Palm Cove in May 2026.

“We’re proud to support a network of members who are continually looking to raise the bar,” Mr Rose added. “The Entrepreneurs’ Club is not just about business improvement – it’s about leadership, community, and unlocking the full potential of our practices.”
