The annual Art of Ocular Imaging Conference (AOI) returns to Sydney in October with another cutting-edge programme.
Designed to upskill, enhance, and complement clinical practical knowledge for eye care health professionals interested in ocular imaging, AOI will be held on Saturday 11 October and will feature high calibre presentations and interactive small group masterclasses.
The continuing professional development programme aims to provide attendees with the latest imaging modalities used in assessing structures anywhere from the front to the back of the eye.
The AOI programme is attracting CPD point allocation from the Australian Orthoptic Board and the masterclasses are in the process of being quality assured by Optometry Australia.
The continuing professional development programme aims to provide attendees with the latest imaging modalities used in assessing structures anywhere from the front to the back of the eye.
The conference, to be held at the University of Technology Sydney, is the brainchild of Senior Orthoptist Mara Giribaldi, assisted by her colleague Christopher Hodge, who had a vision to hold a conference which highlights the importance of accuracy and competency in imaging.
While also developing a clinician’s understanding of the subtleties of disease diagnoses through the application of imaging, case-based examples are used to further explain the application of varied imaging modalities.
The AOI conference will conclude with the annual prize for the best submitted image.
Registrations close on 3 October. To find out more and to register, visit: http://tix.yt/aoi-2025.
