A First for Japan
As IACLE’s first Officer based in Japan, Dr Koh will contribute valuable insight into the structure of eye care education and clinical practice in the country, including the roles of both ophthalmologists and orthoptists. His guidance will assist with IACLE’s understanding of how eye care professionals in Japan engage with contact lens education and how the association’s programmes and resources can best support their educational and professional needs.
As part of this activity, IACLE will host an awareness webinar in February for clinicians and trainees in Japan, with live interpretation, to outline how internationally recognised education and IACLE resources can support contact lens education in the region.
