Join optometrist Lien Trinh and Associate Professor Elaine Chong for episode one of Talking Cornea, a new series within the Talking Eyes podcast for practitioners.
During this episode, host Ms Trinh and Assoc Prof Chong take a clinically focused deep dive into keratoconus, providing an up-to-date overview of how keratoconus presents in clinical practice, why timely diagnosis matters, and how management has evolved beyond simply correcting vision.
Assoc Prof Chong shares practical insights on risk factors, current and emerging treatment pathways, and how clinicians can better support patients navigating a progressive corneal condition.
Designed for primary eye care and health practitioners, this episode also features the lived perspective of Tim Rand, one of Assoc Prof Chong’s patients. He speaks on navigating progressive changes in vision, and the impact of different treatment options offered.
