New Board Chair for Vision Australia

Vision Australia has announced Mark Grey as its new Board Chair.

Vision Australia said Mr Grey brings more than 35 years of leadership and governance experience across sectors including marketing, healthcare and disability, and social services to the Chair position.

He has held senior roles across Australia, Asia, the Middle East and North America including CEO positions at major hospitals and marketing services groups.

Mr Grey is currently Chair of General Practice Registrars Australia (GPRA), Chair of St Giles Disability services in Tasmania. He is also a Director of the Public Trustee and a Director of the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists.

Mr Grey brings lived experience to the role as he has vision loss due to a brain tumour which has left him without the left side of his vision. He is supported by Hoover, his vision assistance dog.
