Revo’s new topography algorithm, T2, enhances corneal surface reconstruction through optimised modelling, reduced noise sensitivity, and increased reliability of computed parameters.
The system captures 62% more data points by increasing the number of radial B-scans to 26.
For darkly pigmented eyes, T2 optimises dark-image capture using light disks and light veins. It also improves eye-tracking startup in challenging conditions such as low light, glare, or patient movement, and reduces image artifacts, bright streaks, specks, and gaps – thereby improving overall examination quality.
T2 provides simulated keratometry (SimK) values referenced to the industry-leading anterior tomographer, and calculates SimK from a fixed annulus with an inner radius of 1.6 mm and an outer radius of 2.4 mm.
