RVEEH Optometry Series

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital’s (Eye and Ear) Optometry Webinar Series returns in 2026, with practical, specialist-led updates to help optometrists and eye care professionals diagnose, manage and refer common and complex eye conditions.

Now in its second year, participants will hear directly from Eye and Ear specialists working in each field and gain insights into what to look for in consultations, how to interpret findings, and when hospital review may be required. The one-hour evening sessions will cover key areas of eye care, including neuro-ophthalmology, glaucoma, cornea, vitreoretinal surgery, emergency eye care, diabetic eye disease, cataracts and oculoplastics.

“We are keen to make this series accessible to as many practitioners as possible, by keeping costs low and allowing participants to choose the sessions that best suit their interests, while also offering a discounted rate for registration across all eight sessions. All profits from the program will be donated directly to the Eye and Ear Education Fund, helping to support the education and development of the next generation of ophthalmologists,” said Dr Jonathan Goh, Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Eye and Ear, and Coordinator of the Optometry Webinar Series.

The eight-part online series will run on Monday evenings from 10 August to 12 October 2026 and will not be recorded. To find out more and register, visit: events.humanitix.com/the-royal-victorian-eye-and-ear-hospital-optometry-webinar-series-2026.
