Join Specsavers as it celebrates 15 years of clinical excellence, with a focus on clinical insights, emerging technologies, and evidence-based practice at its biggest clinical conference yet!

Open to all Australian and New Zealand-based optometrists, SCC brings together optometrists, graduate clinicians, industry partners, and optometry leaders from across Australia and New Zealand for a weekend of clinical development, hands-on learning tailored to everyday practice, and connection with peers, educators and industry innovators.

Taking place from 12–13 September at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa on the Gold Coast, this year’s program features:

  • Up to 20 hours of CPD,
  • A full Saturday of main stage clinical content,
  • An exclusive graduate and early career optometrist breakfast event,
  • A Sunday sponsored breakfast,
  • Hands-on practical workshops, and
  • A poolside networking function.

Plus, new in 2026:

  • A speed round Sunday: a new format for fast, high impact learning, and
  • A wellness session brought to the conference by Medibank
  • Longer breaks to engage in networking, explore supplier exhibitions and enjoy the Gold Coast sunshine!
